I am on Medicare and receive Social Security. Tried to access my accounts to change my address and could not access my accounts. It was always simple in the past and now you have jump through many hoops and still can't access.

Lon,

I got an email from them in May of this year that said they were adding a step to the login process. I have not tried to access my account since then but here is an excerpt from that email.

Each time you sign in to your account, you will complete two steps:

 • Step 1: Enter your username and password.
 • Step 2: Enter the security code we send you by text message or email, depending on your choice (your cell phone provider's text message and data rates may apply).

Good luck!

I agree, the SS / Medicare sites stop just short of being "intuitive" and helpful.

...the same could be said of other sites, both public and private. Kaiser-Permanente's website keeps the user searching and going around in circles for the most basic things.

I had to jump through some extra hoops, but I got through to the SS site with no injuries.

Medicare is a whole other kettle of fish. I imagine it being read aloud by people who have the kind of voices that put us to sleep.
