I like these property programmes as they are absorbing. Yet I truly wonder about the sanity of the people sometimes, spending vast amounts on their dream homes. I'm afraid mostly it seems to me they too often build huge ugly concrete blocks in the middle of nowhere. I rarely like their taste but I suppose it's their money risk
Today's couple, the wife is virtually blind and the man has serious kidney problems. To me it seems crazy them taking on such a huge project. This is the Australian Grand Designs, which I find the more entertaining.
What would your dream home be if you had the money to build it?
I like my modest home and wouldn't want to build one from scratch even if I had money to do it.
