Papa,Nana

Did you two ever do this at my age?

Papa can you do this?

Nana, watch, bet you never did this when you were younger.

Papa, why are you still on the floor?

Nana, Can You Hear Me? -

Papa,What did you want to be when you grew up?

Im sure there is more....add them in...

I think those are all charming questions from little people who have zip experience in this world and they're learning all about it. To them, it's all new and sometimes hard to understand and they're sure they're the first to ever discover that interesting thing whatever it is. Like do you remember when you were 6 years old and you were running and you felt like you were running like the wind? How often do old people have the excitement and sense of discovery that children do?

They weren't around when Papa was 6, so they have to ask.

They've never seen you do 'that', so they have to ask if you can.

Same with whether or not Nana can do 'that'

etc.

They become old and jaded like us all to soon and sadly, they(we've) forgotten how to live in the moment.

I like the one my granddaughter told her Aunt. Not a question but when my daughter ask her "What?" when she made a remark. She said 'Sorry that sounded a lot better in my brain, then it did coming out my mouth!" At least she was smart enough to recognize the truth!

Our grandchildren ask very intelligent questions, as did our children!
