What is your idea of a dream day out?

Once again having Chinese food at our favorite restaurant and laughing like crazy at anything and everything like we use to--with my mom who is gone.

The casino, and they just opened one here in town. I don't bet a lot, just enjoy the atmosphere.

Lunch (anywhere) with my daughter and we go shopping and I have her all to myself.

A nature walk/day out with my grandson.

I'm a Civil War nut. So, a perfect day would be a trip to Gettysburg. I used to go 2-3 times a month, but now, I'm disabled, and can't make the trip. Then I would go to my favorite Chinese restaurant. Again , due to being disabled, I haven't been in a long time.

To be truthful, a perfect day would be being un-disabled.

Totally agree. I love the grand kids but a day with my daughter all alone is precious and like Ruthanne, a day with my mom would be wonderful. We use to just get in the car and ride,find a nice place for lunch and enjoy being together. How I miss that.
