Great Flashlight

I generally shy away from any of this "As Seen on TV" stuff...most of it is overpriced junk. However, I have been curious about these Bell and Howell "Tactical flashlights", so I did some searching and bought one on EBAY for $7.50...instead of the TV price of $19.95 (Plus processing and shipping). That thing is Awesome! It is every bit as bright as the ads say, and in zoom mode, you can see something clearly from over a 100 yards. Plus the strobe and SOS functions might good to have in an emergency situation. I showed it to the kids and grandkids this weekend when we all got together for a great Christmas, and this morning I ordered 10 more for them to keep in their house or vehicles. The one I bought doesn't have the B&H name on it...but then, they are all made in China, for various companies. It takes either a rechargeable lithium battery...no thanks...or it has an adapter to power it with 3 AAA batteries, which should last for hours of use....which is what I will be using. If you have a need for such an item, I would highly recommend it. Here is one of many sites which are selling them on EBAY for a fraction of the TV price.

You're Welcome...I put mine in the truck, and ordered 2 more for us...one for the car, and one to keep in the house....plus 8 more to give to the kids. EBAY has the best prices....you can get them directly from sellers in China for 3 or 4 dollars....I opted for this US seller to get it a lot quicker. DO NOT buy from Amazon...some of those sellers are trying to get as much as $30 for one of these. Just search on a G700 flashlight....the generic name.

Thanks for the review Don, I saw those on TV too. We have an old Cree LED 250 (techlight), and really like that one, it's small but more powerful than our really large LED flashlight. When we're camping in the dark woods and I take the pup out for his last walk, it's light enough for me to scope out my surroundings and see everything very well, great for a pocket light. I hate flashlights that don't put out light, have a few of those getting dusty around here. https://www.amazon.com/Techlite-250...=UTF8&qid=1482790215&sr=8-1&keywords=TECHLITE

If you have a "Big 5" sporting goods store nearby take a look.
They have a variety of flashlights for sale. I bought one a couple of years ago and keep it in the car.
I've only turned it on a couple of times.
I just went out and got it and it still works. Takes 3 AAA batteries and the light is almost blinding.

It's just short of 4" long and about an inch in diameter. The on/off switch button is on the end.

Now I'm going to get a few more for the house. I think I paid (circa) $4.95 for it.

I hate those big flashlights that take those monster D batteries.

Thanks for bringing up the subject Don M

Don, does it come with the adapter for AAA batteries? It's not clear to me from that link.

Yes, the one I got has a plastic "sleeve" for a lithium battery, and an adapter that holds 3 AAA batteries that can be installed in place of the lithium sleeve. The ads on many of these sites are misleading, and some of the sellers are trying to sell these without the AAA battery holder....and then sell the holder separately....so make sure you get one with the AAA holder. The seller I chose included Both.

It looks like a good flashlight with all the bells and whistles. It's amazing how much smaller and more powerful flashlights are becoming. The SOS feature is nice for the car. Thanks for suggesting, Don.
