Great furniture for Seniors

I bought one of these on-line for my wife. Her recliner base sits on the bottom platform and holds it steady. The top swings around out of the way until she sits, then will swing in front of her to form a handy desk for a laptop computer, writing, hobby-work, even a dinner table. It;s solid steel except for the top so it is very sturdy.

It wouldn't work for me because my recliner swivels, so I made my own as shown below:

Both ideas are useful. I like your setup next to your chair, everything within handy reach. My husband has something similar by his chair.

I wish I had a recliner, but no room unless I give up the couch and just keep the love seat.

Well, that is interesting, I was able to see the image of his chair earlier (thus my response) now I cannot see it either.

I can't see the lower picture, but that's an ideal table ! My recliner at my end of the couch sits so low , nothing will slide underneath it . That's what I need ! Where did you get it ?
