Great Pink Floyd Concert Footage

Roger wrote some of their best songs. It's a shame he's such a wanker (to use a British term).
'Wanker'? Great, I'have learned a new word🤣. Roger Waters has a concert in Munich on May 21. The mayor of Munich wanted to cancel it but has no legal right to do it. He thinks it 'unspeakable' and 'unbearable' that Waters could spread 'antisemitic slogans'. But I don't know much about Waters. Is he really antisemitic? I ask because in Germany meanwhile a lot of people who disagree with the government are called antisemitic.

Roger screwed David Gilmore out of a lot of money because Roger had the songwriting royalties. Those songs would have been nothing without Gilmore's instrumentals and vocals. That's what their feud was all about. It makes Roger quite the hypocrite considering he wrote lyrics about money grubbing record companies.

What? @Pepper is angry with me again! lol!

Yeah. I can be a bit of a walking contradiction. I should not have said anything. Just because I don't like that band's music doesn't mean it isn't good or relevant.

You're right. :)

I remember watching this live on the internet. It was probably around 480 resolution but I didn't know any better at the time and I was glued to my monitor.

If it's any consolation, I'm no fan of The Rolling Stones either. I could never stand Jagger's voice.

I know Pink Floyd and The Stones are adored by millions but I love the 80's music mostly. I saw Van Halen in 1984...The Jump Tour. And I saw U2 in 1987 at Olympic Stadium in Montreal...The Joshua Tree Tour.

Also saw Simple Minds in 1985. It was right around the time their hit song Don't You Forget About Me came out.

I enjoyed my single days and seeing concerts was a big part of it. The ‘70’s & ‘80’s were so liberating with all kinds of great concerts Pink Floyd being a classic. It was a fun time with great friends. I got it all out of system before settling down.

I still love the music I grew up with. The concerts from The Midnight Special have been showing up in my YouTube feed, and some of them are pretty great. There's some crap, but even the crap from back then can be interesting.

Funny thing is, almost everyone was smoking weed that night. I wasn't, but I got high anyways. There was so much smoke in the air, it was like watching a concert in a fog. Do I still remember it? Not the concert or what songs they played. Just my experience there.
That's what I remember about a lot of the concerts... the party more so than the music, but there are little bits of the concerts that I still can recall.
