Another stupid way of making decisions resides in thinking that by giving enough people on “committees“ enough information that they will invariably make the right decisions. I’ve spent (wasted, actually) inordinate amounts of time on committees where people debated wording on things like “mission statements” ad nauseum…
 

Good ol' Uncle Thomas. I used to read his free-market drivel back in the '90s before I knew anything about economics, but even back then I could see that his theories weren't consistent with reality. Some people love him because he's a Black man who helps rich (mostly white) people get richer at the expense of everyone else... kind of like Clarence Thomas.
 
What it the Beatles or was it John Lennon who came up with that song, "Power to the People." Nice idea as long as the people are smart and educated enough to know what they are doing. In this day and age I have some very serious doubts doubts?
