Great Super Bowl Party, where was I ?

We had a great Super Bowl Party, I got in on the tail end of it. Was scheduled to work till 5 but ended up staying till 7. We had a house full, well, after I left for work. Pasta Salad, Crack Weenies, Hot links and Dogs, Baked beans Nacho Bar and sweets !
Love having a house full of family and friends and a good game, even if it's just the last few minutes.

Hubby had a friend over to watch the game with, and we all ate barbequed pork ribs and succotash, I was busy with other things, just popped in now and then for a minute to see what was happening in the game.
 
Sorry you had to miss most of it pchinvegas. I know you were really looking forward to the party. Hope they left you lots of goodies and spirits.

Since we moved out to the sticks we don't have any sports channels. I hate sports unless it involves athletes with 4 legs, but hubby enjoys it so I feel bad for him (not real bad though).
 
Oh damn , no sports, that sucks. We have plenty and my son in law has a TV fetish, we have a 73 inch in the front room. a 63 inch on the porch, and one in each bedroom, never miss a play. He find great deals on Craigs list and fixes them. SPOILED !
 
Just me and the Mrs watching it online. I still have a cold so I'm not much fun at the moment. Went to work today at 8 am and by 9 the manager told me to go home. Slept most of today and I go in later Tuesday so I hope I'm over the most of it.

It was a good game though, much better than the last few I have seen.
 
My local news station said that Nielsen said 71% of TV's were tuned into the game and that was an all time record.

Between Beyonce's performance and the 34 minute partial blackout of the stadium, it's a game that won't be forgotten.

I recorded it but somehow I missed Alicia Keyes singing "The Star Spangled Banner", and then Jennifer Hudson singing "America The Beautiful" with the children's choir from Sandy Hook:(

My FAP time is back to 100%, so I can watch Jennifer Hudson and the children on YouTube:)
