When you look back on your life what do you consider to be your greatest achievement?

Raising our daughter to be a resourceful individual. We are so proud of her.
Also, my former volunteer work .. teaching English (ESL) to high school students, boat people, and immigrant women who are trying to re-enter the work force.

I loved Kesha's remark....Nice....we did too..

First of all our 2 children...The best kids anyone can have....
We were poor....when we got married....Hubby worked and I took care of the kids....we only had 1 car....As they got to be old enough to
go to school I walked them to school...At the time in the town, they didn't have bus drivers for the kids to go to school....We lived there
7 years, renting, and moved to another State...Hubby got a great job...I decided then we didn't want to live in an apartment....We bought
a new home in a nice development....I also got a job in a dress shop....My friend would watch my kids after school until hubby got home..
I worked till 11 at night....
Sorry this is long....After a few years we went back to NJ....Hubby got a job with the one he had in the State....
I worked in a school system, and after a year I got the job as a Secretary in the High School...A new School in our town...
I guess my skills from High School came in handy being I had 4 years of typing and short hand....So I worked in the school
for 25 years....The kids both went to college and both finished...We paid off their college education after 15 years after they graduated...
We had no hand out's.....We just persevered....Today we are still happy in our cottage...That we never thought in a million years we would
have another home....

Raising my family, going to college and working a full-time job simultaneously and not losing my marbles, LOL! That’s the main reason why my retirement is so sweet!

I have muddled my way through life reasonably well so far. (Married a terrific woman along the way.)
Greatest personal achievement, hmmm …. lots of little ones and a few moderate ones, but actually I plan on doing something really, really great tomorrow. I don't know what it is just yet.
