Hi everyone,
A short introduction:
Early 60s and married, originally from the UK and living inThailand. I’m an English and social science teacher working in Inner Mongolia SAR (Northern China - 250 miles NW of Beijing).
I’ve been employed here since 2011. My background is British armed forces, various universities, plus a spell in residential mental healthmanagement and finally, in the telecommunications logistics sector.
My interests are politics, travel, food, non-professional resume writing and SEO, plus education and writing information articles (not necessarily in that order).
My philosophy is that life is anadventure and just because we reach 50, despite some obvious age related achesand pains, we don’t become geriatrics.
To be fair, I’ve just voluntarily left one forum afterhaving an initial political thread blocked (yes, it was in the right section),amid a barrage of misinformed opinions (part of my job involves teaching political science) and accusations of belonging to foreign intelligence agencies! May I just add that China and places east are very different from the views portrayed in the western media.
So, what do you think, any interest?
