I hadn't heard this before, I wonder how common it really is?

Recently I've heard several young YouTubers say that when they say that something is "a young peoples' thing" they get negative feedback in the Comments Section. Gaming, new tech, sexy lingerie, makeup, hot cars, what have you.

"Every time I say X or Y, the old police come in to give me a hard time."



Is that a real thing that's taking off, or just an odd coincidence?

I haven't bothered to try and figure out what the purpose of this thread was, until you mentioned sexy lingerie. Now I'm thinking it might be important.

Fuzzy weighed in right away with something to say, but that response is a bit perplexing. What does it have to do with sexy lingerie?

I haven't bothered to try and figure out what the purpose of this thread was, until you mentioned sexy lingerie. Now I'm thinking it might be important.

Actually it was a guy talking about Christmas gifts for his wife.

I don't know, but I'm often reminded that nothing is new. Games aren't new, tech is relative, sexy lingerie isn't new, make up, hot cars.... nothing new, just newer.

Part of oldsters chiming in is probably oldsters thinking they have accrued wisdom to impart.

For a time, for several years, I collected silent movies. In that hunt, I saw some pornography from the late 1800's, into the early 1900's. Let me tell you, nothing, and I mean nothing, is new.
