That's a lot of information to take in. I looked at part of it; not all. So many harmful products out there. The less I do to my own hair, the better results. Not over washing, no excessive brushing or products that build up.

The elements of these "I want to achive a certain image" mindsets can ruin scalps forever. Shame.

Though I am bald Neutrogena shampoo and conditioner have been around since forever as work .
 
Hard water is high in calcium and magnesium. It can cause a dry, itchy scalp. It can make psoriasis and eczema worse. Hard water can also cause frizz, breakage and brittle hair. It can slow hair growth. The solution is using a clarifying shampoo weekly to remove mineral build up. Or get a soft water attachment for the shower.

Do you put the conditioner on your scalp?
How do you use this Neutrogena Conditioner.?
 
It should come as no surprise that I have not used people shampoo on my hair for the last 12 or so years.

It all started one hot very humid summer morning when I was waiting for the critter chiropractor at the barn. I was sweaty and my head itched.

I grabbed the horse shampoo and stuck my head under the water spigot which is only cold water. Did that ever feel good.

I discovered my scalp stopped itching right away and stayed that way, thanks to the horse shampoo because it does not have all the crap in it, people shampoo has.

Iā€˜ve been using Vetrolin Horse shampoo ever sincešŸ¤ šŸ¤
