Hamas Chief Killed in Iran

Hate is spreading. Countries need to choose leaders that will not spread hate. That goes for all countries even those that have freedom and democracy. Countries that have dictators, need to replace them. People need to overthrow dictators and dictator wannabes.
Ditto your post Paladin! But in countries where people would be shot just as soon as uttering a word against those in power, accomplishing those things may be hard. In any case, I won't be shedding any tears for the dead Hamas leader, that's for sure.

Peace? That is hard to imagine in a region full of fanatical, violently-inclined religious people who believe that they are being transferred into a superior life by their appreciative god whenever they lose their lives during terrorist acts.

Here's what I don't understand. According to news reports I've seen, he was a key figure involved in negotiations to free the hostages, which were said to be promising. Why kill him if that was the case? It put an end to favorable negotiations or any at all, last I heard. Something is rotten and it ain't in Denmark.
