We saw the TV series some years ago. She first appeared on a documentary called "Too long a winter" and this proved so popular that more programmes followed and Hannah became a celebrity. I used to have a couple of her books and I believe there is even one called "Hannah in America". She died in 2018 aged 91.

I have all her books and I used to have the series on VHS years ago... I met her 3 tiimes in the course of my work in the media , and she was the sweetest most gentle lady, and stoical in the extreme.. from another time really... clever, and naive to the ways of the outside world, but clever and smart when it came to business .. .. The Hannah Hauxwells of this world are not a dime a dozen. I miss her being in the world to this day
