Happy December

In our household Christmas season starts today; not in October. Today I go downstairs in our condo unit & find all the lights, decorations & put up that snowman with the lights. Hack, I might even start playing my own Christmas CDs. I have 18 of them. That's over 18 hours of Christmas music; mostly traditional like Guy Lombardo, Gene Autry, etc. We have the decorations up for 30 days & take everything away right after the New Year. I find that having decorations up for 3 months or more is way too much. It gets stale after a month & I want life to go on. Anyway, HAPPY DECEMBER EVERYONE!

December 2nd has been a quiet day at home for me, hum-drum but pleasant and the weather has been nice no frost or fog and a tad warmer.

The local shops are heaving with Christmas stuff: twinkling lights and pretty trees in shop windows, tinsel etc. For a small semi rural town they push the boat out and its heartening to see
