I've always liked the number 13. I have had a lot of good things happen on the 13th over the years. Friday the 13th always feels extra lucky for me.

My mother died on the 13th...so when my daughter was born 3 years later also on the 13th I instilled in her from very young that 13 was in fact a 'lucky' number, so she never learned to become superstitious , and to this day she believes that wholeheartedly.

Guess it was a lucky day for my eldest daughter. She just called and said she got pulled over on her way to work. 83 in a 65 zone. She works in the traffic court. When she mentioned that she should have known better,working where she does,the cop looked in and said "What court? I don`t recognize you." She said "I don`t recognize you either-Nevada City." I know Officer ------ and Officer --------- but not you. He let her go. Thankfully. She looked it up when she got to work and just text me-it would have been a $336.00 fine and she would not have been eligible for traffic school....
