I got home from work a bit after ten last night. Turns out my daughter in law had called earlier. Could I watch Mr. Baby around seven or eight the following morning? ZZZZZ of course I had to say yes. The first thought was if it's just for a bit put the dogs in the yard. Sophie started her machine gun BARKBARKBARK BARKBARKBARK and woke hubby up. After working all night he needs his sleep.
Problem two is we don't have mouthable toys in the house anymore. Time to improvise quickly. I had a trio of stuffed bears. Then my eyes set on a bowl of pretend jewels from the fish tank. Large enough not to be a choking hazard and shiny sparkling fun. Add a rubber spatula and you can stir them and then chew the spatula. My younger son brought down a toy truck from his room.
We can put jewels on the truck and then push it with the spatula. The dogs? I have a railing panel that just blocked off the back kitchen nicely. They could whine all they wanted but not get near Mr. Baby. Great way to begin the day:love_heart::love_heart::love_heart:
