Happy Valentines Day ! I hope your day is as special as you are.

Last night we had snow and freezing rain. This morning calls for rain so it might be too dangerous to go walking.

Today we are having BBQ ribs with air fries, and coleslaw and ice cream for dessert.

Do you have any special plans today?

Thank you for your good wishes, Patty. But I don't deserve them. No special plans, no gift and not even a kiss to my wife because of this day.
I should have thought about all those without a partner before starting this thread. I’m sorry George. Maybe I can get the thread deleted.

No! Please Patty, don't get this thred deleted. I am married. All I wanted to say is, that Valentines Day has absolutly no significance for my wife and me. I admit that this might feel strange for most members of the forum, but that's how we are.

And most of all: Absolutely no reason to feel sorry. Never apologize if it is not your fault!

It's been a very long time since I has a someone to send Valentine cards to, so I suppose it has just become another day, however, to all the lovely ladies hearabouts, pucker your lips 'cause old Tim is sending virtual kisses and full arms around waists hugs to all of you. 🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗

Happy Valentines Day, all you Seniors who, every day, keep me from being lonely and bored to death.

We never do anything on V-Day either George. My Hubs is definitely not romantic. or a gift giver, it took him years to realize that a candy bar wasn't a really a good Christmas present. Heh. So I went to the store after dinner last night and got all three of us some candy so we're alright.

Happy Valentines Day, all!

Local social and senior groups have all but disappeared recently. A very generous friend invited old acquaintances for Valentines Day pancakes at IHOP this morning to try to keep something going.

Twelve people attended (nine women and three men). Some I haven't seen in a year or more. We will be doing this twice each month from now on thanks to a dedicated and caring person.

Her request was that we each do something for another person today, a great suggestion any day.

Thank you for the Valentine’s wishes back.
It’s been a great day so far. We are just finishing off caramelizing the ribs and cooking the fries. We exchanged Valentines Day Cards!
I’ll have to save room for the ice cream.
Have a lovey day guys.
