Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival October 4, 5, 6

That time of year again for the free outdoor Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park that draws about 750,000 people over 3 days and has a range of genre's besides blue grass with 70 acts on 5 stages.

So next weekend 10/4,5,6. So for those members with flexibility, a great free event to visit The City. If any members here would like some advice on logistics, including how to do so frugally, ask herein. Although these music genres are not this person's core interest (Classic Rock), I can enjoy and dance to most anything.

So the festival begins today Friday10/4/2024. For those in this region, the current heat wave is now forecast to linger through the weekend with temps inland into the 90s and 3 digits. To escape that heat, San Francisco is a sure choice for being outside with sunny temps under 80F. I'll make the 55 mile drive north for Saturday and Sunday.
