Starting this coming Monday masks are mandatory in Harris County if we are out in public subject to a $1,000 fine and possible jail. Some police officers said they will not enforce this. It's a little hard to be for or against this because now we believe you can have no symptoms yet you can transmit the virus to others. And the beat goes on.

Texas is the second most populated state with close to 29 million people and as 543 deaths.. (y)

While there are currently no Rules, in our area, regarding wearing face masks, most people seem to be doing so....us included. IMO, it makes good sense to take any recommended precautions, during this uncertainty, than to risk creating even more problems.

We'd have better stats if they hadn't imported the virus to Texas with those infected cruise ship people they dumped on Lackland AFB 6 weeks ago.

I ordered some masks from Amazon yesterday and they should be here tomorrow. I hope these aren't as uncomfortable as the N95 masks we have. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086KMYNSS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Are marks required both indoors & outdoors? If so, I can see why police officers will not enforce it - it's as stupid as can be.
Even Dr. Ferrer said masks are not necessary outdoors.
