Has anything made you chuckle today ?

There’s nothing like a good laugh, I find there’s very few days without an amusing incident, and I’m still giggling over yesterday...

A friend called round with some books, I offered him a cup of tea and, as it was Saturday (my treat day), opened a small box of cakes, setting them on the table and telling my friend to ‘help yourself’, he did, he ate the lot !

I would love to have seen my face, as I sat there, horrified, watching my cakes disappear one by one thinking to myself, ‘that’s my treats’ 😳........knowing I had nothing else and making a mental note to never tell anyone to ‘help themselves’, ever again !

What has made you chuckle recently ?

I'd send the greedy sod a bill....and then tell him that his greed story has gone viral on that facey site...

Seeing a quite large lady bending down to pick up some dropped coins, her trousers split from gusset to waist at the back......I was right behind her and couldn't resist saying, " Isn't it nice to see a bit of sun for a change?"

I’m sure he thought they were all meant for him, I don’t know him very well or I would’ve soon said “Oi, you greedy bugger, save some for me”, 😆

Maybe you could show up at his house, next Saturday, Wren, with a couple of books, (at teatime?)
and make yourself appear very comfortable and unhurried and not rushed, and mention you might be a bit thirsty and hungry, load with hints?

And see what he comes up with to offer? :ROFLMAO:

Ok, hope you folks are up to this one. We live on "land" and have a combination of wild creatures along with our domestic ones on the property. Our outdoor cat was having his daily bowel movement when a big female deer, chewing some grass, became interested and sauntered right up behind him and proceeded to stick his nose directly in the cat's rear end.

Let me tell you, only that cat's laundress knew, 'cause he instantly went straight up in the air about 4 feet! Laughing so hard, I'm still wondering how a cat can even accomplish that feat!

Looking out my window yesterday I saw a kid, age about 9, riding his bike on the pavement, the wrong way up a one way street, he was belting along, his skinny little legs going up and down like pistons, I was just thinking ' you cheeky little bugger' when he started doing a wheelie !! and kept it going to the end of the street  :D

Wrong on so many levels, but gave me a chuckle just the same

I found a very tiny little pottery bowl with an Indian pattern on it that my mom had given me from their trip out west,I was in my western mode back then but years ago changed to a more eclectic decor. I packed it away. I'm not sure what was in it when she gave it to me but it is way to small for a plant and to shallow for flowers.
I found a tiny china bird that fits nicely inside with a bit of hay. I have it sitting on my kitchen window sill.
What makes me chuckle is that every time my son visits he takes the little bird and hides him someplace in my kitchen. Sometimes it takes quite awhile to find him.
He has flown inside my favorite mug, been on top of the coffee maker and behind the utensil holder.

i

it

Almost every night I have 4 raccoons visit me at my back door. I feed them cat kibble & they love it. 2 of them stand up on their hind legs as soon as they see me. One of them is really bold; he scoops out the food from the cup while I'm still holding it.

Yes. We were watching an old film of the TV series One foot in the Grave.. and they were in the Algarve Portugal , and all sorts of disasters were happening that we've personally witnessed happen to people in Spain in the past as well ... and I was in hysterics, I thought I was going to choke I was laughing so much..😂😂..and because I couldn't stop laughing and the tears were running down my face my husband was trying to stop laughing, and it was making him laugh more...
