Has Your Doctor Ever Questioned You About Ebola?

I rarely go to the doctor, but I recently called my HMO to set up an eye exam. The woman said that they now can test for Ebola, and asked me if I had Ebola or visited any countries affected. She also asked if I had any contact with anyone that has Ebola.

Have you ever been questioned by your medical provider about Ebola, or have been tested for it?

It is the new thing to be asked that every time you set foot in a medical place. As far as testing you have not seen or had that done that I know of. Reminds me of the security things asked of people that were traveling, like take off your shoes. Does not apply to me since I do not travel and heard heart breaking stories of the sick and elderly beeing subjected to horrible searches. I get tired of been asked the latest question since I have not been out to such places.

There was an Ebola outbreak when we lived in Uganda. 2008 I think. But I was never asked about it at airports when travelling out of the country.
