Have another UTI again

To me dryer sheets stink. There is no other term. Extremely unpleasant.
I agree! "IF" I have to use any dryer sheets or liquid softener, I always use unscented. I use unscented everything. I hate the smell of Febreze too. and they put it in almost everything; even cat litter. I use unscented cat litter,as well.

They say (please don't ask me to prove it) that they're dropping like flies in China making fragrances and flavorings.
A walk down the cleaning-products aisle at Walmart will suck the breath right out of you.

My wife was experiencing UTI's note that I say was . She did like Marie got a prescription, that worked for a little while. After the 3rd. time & wanting my wife to be free of the pain & discomfort I took her to the hospital emergency room. There they gave her meds for the pain & did a comprehensive test of the strain causing the UTI's . They prescribed the right med to eliminate the cause. Over two years now & zero reoccurrence.

For years now, I've taken 2 Azo cranberry soft-gels in the morning & haven't had a problem with UTIs. I also drink a lot of water during the day to help flush my system. Azo also makes these in gummies & caplets which I have tried, but found the soft-gels work the best.

I tried other brands of cranberry supplements before, but they didn't work at all. Once I found Azo, I stuck with them.

It's my favorite fantasy that some teen who isn't ready for motherhood, leaves her baby on my porch.

Of course I would do the right thing and call the police, I would just take a whole lot of time doing it.

How many years, Della?😁

As I posted before UTI's can be caused by a variety of bacteria. As was the case with my wife a fits all antibiotic was prescribed, and it worked for a little while. But reoccurrence popped it's ugly head up.

Not happy with that a trip to the ER was very enlightening. There they took the time & effort to get it right. No UTI's since the proper diagnosis was made.

This article explains better than I can.

I think you need to get to the bottom of why you keep getting these infections! Are you taking a medication that could be causing it? Are you somehow getting fecal bacteria in your lady parts? Do you give that area a chance to "breathe"? Are you deficient in something that's leaving you vulnerable to these infections? If the UTI is yeast, eating yogurt on a regular basis helps. Just brainstorming here. UTIs are no fun and it's concerning that you're getting them so often.

Little late seeing this thread, but I read each one and there is something else that can cause them. The worst UTI I have suffered with was from one of those water bottles. The ones with all the gadgetry and suction seals under the lid (the expensive ones usually).
I cleaned it everyday, I thought. But somehow I missed this one seal near the top and junk built up under that and my lab tests showed I had ingested E.coli.
I had to really think about where I could have got it from. I drink both water and iced tea from my travel cups so the tea was the main thing rotting under that seal.
I tossed that cup and bought a simpler made one without suction seals in it. If in doubt...rip your travel mug apart and check.

I used to get these all the time, but in the past 6 months I've been infection free. For years I've been using Estradiol (estrogen cream) twice a week, lately only once. It drove me mad! I tried mannose, saw a urogynecologist, practiced kegels daily. nothing worked. Don't know why they went away (knock wood!) but really hope this is for good or at least for a decent period of time.
