I have not posted much of late, and just want to update everyone. I brought my husband home on Saturday. He is feeling pretty well, just trying to get his system back in order and, as he said, finally take the opportunity to get used to being retired. He got his cancer diagnosis just days after his last day of work.
So, I have been spending much time helping him het his sea legs back, while still encouraging him to walk and be a bit more independant. A couple days ago I went to the grocery store and had my first real melt down in response to all that has been going on. Feel a bit better, I guess. This whole thing has been a big adjustment for both of us.
As I mentioned in another post, I picked up two new rats as well. They are named Max and Bear. They are getting used to their new surroundings too. Pretty cute.
Well, will start posting more regularly now.
Now off to get ready for our daily dose of Perry Mason. Starts soon on MeTv

I'm glad things are going well for you and your husband, Marie. I'm sure it's stressful and will take a bit of time to get back into "normal." Take care and spoil yourself a little.
