Have you been told you have a distinctive fragrance?

My kids say I have a “Mom” smell. Not a generic Mom, but THEIR Mom. They say they could pick me out of a crowd just by my fragrance alone.

I think it’s a combination of my laundry detergent and softener that makes my clothes smell sweet, and the body lotion and soap I’ve been using for as long as I can remember. And occasionally perfume I guess, but all my fragrances are floral/sweet. Dove or Caress soap, Japanese cherry blossom lotion, Chanel #5 perfume.

And though I change detergents and fabric softeners from time to time, they all smell floral rather than fresh. I know because I have to smell them before I buy them And if they don’t have that sweet floral fragrance I won’t use them!!

How about you? Do you have a distinctive scent?

Ronni I like your description of fragrance, that is nice, floral sweet
and 'their mom' smell is the best thing ever to hear from ones kids,
and along with many other things, your post makes me smile

I've been told that I have a sweet vanilla like fragrance about me, but
I don't wear any vanilla lotions, so that is interesting...

Otherwise it is often said that I smell good, I get that comment when I
am hugging someone or they are hugging me ~
