Interesting backround on this famous Chinese dish originating in the Hunan District of China. Do a Google.
I have heard about it for years but tonight I will have it for the first time,delivered by GRUBHUB.

I agree with RR most places make it too sweet, I always order it extra spicy.

I tried it here in Sacramento, and found it too spicy. But their orange chicken is way too tangy also.

My husband likes it. Me, not so much. I prefer sesame chicken or a new favorite pineapple chicken.

My husband`s favorite-or at least it was when we used to eat at this one restaurant near san Francisco. We grocery shopped in a different store the other day and I found a jar of sauce for it so will try it some night when it`s just the two of us (not that that happens very often...lol)
