Have You Ever Been Nailed With Recurring Charges?

Am I the only one dumb enough to sign on for a web service at a low one month trial basis, not read the small print and then get hit with larger recurring monthly charge? I was able to cancel and get a refund, but still, I should have read the small print.

I once joined a "Penny Auction" site without reading the small print.

I was over really happy to buy a camera for £2, it's real worth was
over £100, imagine when I got my bank statement and actually looked
at it and found that the "auction site" was charging me £60 per month
for premium membership.

So my bargain camera was almost retail price, that is when I got a
separate account for internet purchases.
