Have You Ever Been On A Blind Date?

Yes, I went on a blind date which ended up in King's Cross Sydney. My date said he knew Last Card Louis, who was the owner of the Strip Joint. I was totally embarrassed when the first stripper came out, she must have been in her late 30's and couldn't sing for nuts. In those days they wore pasties with tassles on the end and she swung them around much to the enjoyment of the men. I couldn't wait to leave, and the blind date dropped me off at the nearest railway station because he was too drunk to drive me home. Mum asked me if I had a nice night! I wasn't game enough to tell her where I had been to.

Having kids turned me around with the booze, though. You can't be hungover on the couch when the little ones are saying, "Daddy, let's do this...let's do that."

I drink the odd light beer occasionally these days.

Have You Ever Been On A Blind Date?

Oh yes, years ago when Father Christmas was in short trousers.

I was 'set up' by one of two sisters who mustn't of liked the other sister much. 😊

Those two were always like a pair of cats hissing at each other, anyway, the other day I bumped into one of them and barely said "Hello", and when I got home, this was playing on the radio....... 😊
