Are there lawyers that specialize in Elder Care? Makes me think of Saul Goodman...

My only experience was with my mother's will. I helped her write it with assistance from one of those websites that helps you write wills, cost about $25. One of my brothers was uncomfortable with us doing it without having a lawyer involved. So we hired a local one, she read what my mother and I had put together. Then just said that she could not really give a blessing to a legal document written by a non-lawyer, but if it were her mother she's be fine with the will. That cost a lot more than the will writing software, but gave my bother comfort that we were ok.

We used an estate attorney that specialized in eldercare issues. We found it very useful in updating my MIL's legal docs as she had moderate dementia already. Used the same attorney for our own legal docs and she raised issues we had not thought of.

For us it was well worth it.
