It’s a real treat - if you like Christmas cakes. I hate them and hers are usually dry. My poor husband has to eat it over the next few months. I freeze it in chunks.
Fruitcake lover here. Never made one of my own. Ya know how when something makes you really really sick (food poisoning in my case) you can't stand to ever touch it or smell it again?
