Thin slice of toast between two thin slices of bread with a layer of butter, and salt and pepper to taste.

We do, and I know that's probably strange to some also, But when I saw it, and for 1st time, I thought it was strange when my sister-in-law did it...

I've raised a glass of wine and toasted people many times around the dinner table. Never toasted anybody by raising a sandwich, though.
