Have You Ever Seen Or Heard Of Someone Having A Green Birthmark?

When my baby was born, he had a large green birthmark on his back. When he laid on his stomach, he reminded me of a little frog. I just found out about a month ago that his youngest son also has a large green birthmark! His mother, my Honorary Daughter (HD), told me when I was relaying the story about my son's birthmark. I believe my son's is gone but HD said my grandson, who is 19, still has his. I've never seen or heard of anyone else having one that color.

NIH says they are known as "Mongolian Spots" and are congenital birthmarks. And nope, I've never seen one. (I'm sorry if it's something else you're asking about!) @OneEyedDiva

Mongolian spots: How important are they?
No need to apologize Kate because you've definitely clued me to something I did not know. Thank you for finding the information for me. The following particularly interesting to me because I have both African and Asian (Indian) ancestry. Now when my son gets home, I'm going to ask him if I can his back to see if he still has his.
"They are most commonly found in individuals of African or Asian ethnic background. Although these lesions resolve by one to two years of age, widespread, extrasacral and dark colored MS sometimes persist into adulthood."

Thank you Fuzzybuddy. The color on my son's back looked more like this picture I found when looking up the condition that @CallMeKate posted about. Both of you are right, however, since the condition goes by both terms according to Google Assistant. My son's was actually green (minus red areas) like in this photo, except it was one large blotch over the middle of his back, not patchy like in the photo. At birth, his skin color was the same as this baby's. My son's is completely gone; just checked.
