Have you had some stranger pay for your meal bill at a restaurant?

I had a stranger in a fance restaurant pay for me and two other meals which was a ex-large pizza and three drinks which cost 35 dollars.

Why did the person do that? Any idea?

@Pepper sometimes people just do random acts of kindness.

It happened to me once, only through the drive-thru. We went to pick up take- out food and the person told us the car in front of us paid for our order.

It's called "paying it forward." When someone does something for you, you pass it on to another person.

One of my friends is mental retired and she is 65 years old which I don't know was the reason.

I get special pleasure from paying for the meals of junior military personnel in uniform.

We have paid for meals for soldiers as we were leaving. Have not been out for some time now so will probably not do again. I had a person pay for my Starbucks drink one time in the drive through.
