Having Problems With Firefox

When I quit the internet, I get that busy indication and it says FF crashed, but there is nothing evident of that. It appears to work as normal as it ever did.

When checking Yahoo Mail I get a message saying it's offline when it isn't. I'm using Windows 8.1.

I may just try to re-install FF but I would have to re-do favorites.

I had 8.1 up until a couple of weeks ago and was getting the same messages with firefox. I also got a popup telling me that 8.1 will no longer be supported after Jan or Feb 1023 . I upgrading to windows 10 and so far I have not had any of those issues again thus far
 
Can't relate, use a rolling Linux distro (Manjaro) KDE/and dual boot with LinuxMint Cinnamon, problems are usually resolved within a short period. Also run Bleachbit prior to shutdown.
