Hazel McCallion is 101 years old, She just signed a contract to head the board that manages the biggest airport in Canada, for the next three years.

Most people aged 101 would be content to still be breathing, but not Hurricane Hazel. Amongst her many accomplishments in the past , she was the Mayor of the city of MIssissauga for 36 consecutive years. For most elections she won by a landslide. MIssissauga is the 5th largest city in Canada, with a population of 850,000 residents. Now Hazel will head the Greater Toronto Airport Authority Board, which runs Lester Pearson International Airport. Its a full time job.

She is one feisty lady, not to mention, a very sharp cookie. I wish her all the best in her new endeavour.
