Just finished watching the first season. Really got into it. Any music fans out there who enjoyed the show? Great fictional look at the recording industry in the early-mid 70s.
Of course the language is pretty rough, but it fits with the characters. Captures the period with the rampant drug use, hyper sexuality and cutthroat business practices. Lead actor, Bobby Cannavale will likely get an Emmy nomination for this role.
Bummer, just saw that HBO announced today that they will pull the plug on a 2nd season.
