have had little response.
I'm looking for recommendations for good, portable (i.e., battery-operated) HD radios. I have a SPARC SDH-TX2, and the HD function has disappeared. It's still usable because I can still tune regular AM/FM stations, but I want my local HD classical station. Also, the SPARC eats through batteries, and my pocketbook just can't keep up with its alarming pace. It can be plugged in, of course, but I like to tote it with me when I'm working in the garden; therefore, the need for one that also operates on batteries.
