Lack of sleep
linked to heart disease risk.
According to a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, people who have
high blood pressure and sleep less and 7.5 hours a night may 'face' a greater risk
for heart disease and stroke.
One reason for this...is that short sleep periods deprive the body of the necessary dip
in blood pressure that regular sleep
provides.
Chronic sleep deprivation has been linked to other health risks, diabetes and obesity.
It is advised talking to your physician, if you are experiencing difficulty sleeping.
