Dunno, perhaps it means an animal that was raised in the wild on natural food rather than relying on chemically or hormone induced food.

It means using roadkill as compost material or as food for other animals....recycled roadkill.

Reminds me of the sign I once saw on the internet. It was outside of a roadside grill in the US, and said something like,
"Bring us your roadkill and we'll cook it for you. From your grill to ours!"
