Heart Cath On Tuesday

I had a stress test done two weeks ago, which came back showing some flaws in the results. My Cardiologist, who just does consults now (he is about 80) read the results and said he didn't believe them, but according to procedures, we must get a cath done. So, this past Tuesday I had my heart scoped, which the doctor pushed the wire up through my wrist. He said they prefer not to use the groin anymore to cut down on the bleeding.

The results showed no blockages and the doctor told me that I have the heart of a 50 year old man.I guess that's a good thing.

Good to hear your heart is okay with no blockages. Please take care.

I will never have another stress test ever! They are worthless imo.

3 months before I had a major heart attack, nearly died,, and had to have a 5 way bypass to repair major artery blockages I had a stress test that showed my heart was healthy. 😔

I couldn't run, so they sent me to have a chemical stress test. When the results came back, they told me I had had a heart attack. A silent heart attack, that is mostly women who have silent heart attacks. I had no clue when it might have happened.

@oldman
I know that you have had the extreme and difficult medical situations and hospital stay, after this above thread of yours was written and posted;

And some of us know, that now presently, (early March, 2022)

you are slowly rehabbing and improving.
I hope you will continue to get stronger, and be able to do more things.
You can let us know how your rehab is going, if you'd like to.:)
Thinking of you.
