I have watched this series. It is very family friendly and scenery is beautiful. It is one series I could watch with my 88 year old mother and not be embarrassed by language or sex scenes.

Heartland is shot in southern Alberta. It isn't that popular in Canada, but it has been sold ( with other languages dubbed in ) in about 20 countries. Apparently it is very popular in Japan, because of the scenery. Japanese tourists come to Canada to specifically see our Aurora Borealis in the far north, believing that a child that is conceived under the lights will have a "lucky life ". JimB.
