One of my favorite films watched it a few times now and it took me a few tries to realize that Ted Danson had a part in it - just did not spot it immediately and I watch him a lot in sitcoms. Apparently film is based on a true story - not that that matters really - it's a good authentic film imo and far from hollywood glitz!

Never heard of this movie. Checked it out, looks wonderful, thanks for recommending it. PS Redhook Brooklyn still part cesspool part gentrified. Was always a "bad" neighborhood, gangs, etc.

ted danson played a part so not ted danson that it took me three viewings to spot him and he was standing right infront of my face!
