Hedy Lamarr - what a woman

She starred in a controversial film called'ECSTASY" {available on You Tube} in the early 30's. and it was released in the 50's. No big deal ---it had some partial nudity.

She was lovely with out a doubt.
 

Yes! Probably my number one "Dream Girl" entering my teens in the forties. I didn't know about her high intelligence until I saw a documentary a couple of years ago. I just went on You Tube and looked at her photos. Beautiful! No doubt about it. I look at those eyes now where I used to see brimming desire. Now they seem to say "I'm bored to death. Take your silly picture and lets get this over with!".
Now I'm going to watch "Samson and Delilah". :woohoo:
 
Esther Williams was the sweetheart of the fifties and, of course, Jane Russell was the harlot...
 
Yes, I remember the crowded theater at a Saturday matinee, and for a quarter we were going to see the tussle in the hay but it was all blacked out which brought on booing from all of the adolescent boys which packed the place...
 
While she was a beauty, I was impressed by her contribution to winning the war in WW2 and her contribution to science. She was truly amazing.
