I used to live in Devonport and Saltash.. many years ago when I was married to the naval officer who was my ex .... been to Lancashire only to visit Blackpool...once ...:D

..are you still working or retired?

Unfortunately I'm still working 😭I've been mad busy since the pandemic, I'm a delivery driver for a large supermarket chain.

I've seen Blackpool illuminations many times, been up the tower too, it's a great little seaside town for holidays.

I haven't been back to Cornwall for a while, thinking of visiting family there in the new year if restrictions allow me to 🙂

I couldn't believe my eyes the other night, my neighbour was getting a delivery from a Supermarket at midnight... :eek:

Yes I've seen the illuminations too, been up the tower, ( hated the glass floor).., also danced in the Tower Ballroom...💃..not somewhere I'd want to take a holiday tho'... but I know many people enjoy Blackpool 😊...good to have you here Ebony..we Brits are outnumbered here... 😜

From Cornwall eh, and as it happens, I've got a Cornish Pasty in the oven for my dinner (lunch to posh people), I'll open a tin of baked beans to go with it. Later, and while sitting watching the telly, I'll no doubt be repeatedly and momentarily elavating myself a tad out of my chair. I do keep a peg in my pocket. 😊

Enjoy yourself, they are a really good crowd here.

Great with beans or spaghetti, topped off with brown sauce, delicious😋

The latest I've delivered is about 10pm. Since the pandemic I've taken on extra shifts, I enjoy it to be honest, meet lots of people and even get to know their dogs :love:

I've never trusted the glass floor, if it's gonna give way then knowing my luck it'll be me stood on it, I'd end up bouncing over the comedy carpet below :oops:

Do we have a members map here?

No members map on this forum... actually that's a good idea, I know we've had some on other forums. I wonder if @Matrix ( our owner and admin of the forum) would consider making a members Map...
