Hello, I just joined today. I am never sure if I am a middle-aged person or a senior because sometimes I can get senior discounts and other times, well, I am just too young. Oh, dear. :) But my grown kids think I am over the hill. And 'senior' actually sounds better than saying 'middle-aged' as you can say: a spry, sassy, sensational senior, but I don't know what goes with middle-age except muddled or mixed-up. So, since I hope to stay young at heart (and spry) in my senior years, I am looking forward to enjoying this senior forum!

Hi and welcome to the forum, glad to have you join us here! :D I know what you mean about the expression middle-age, sounds like the times when people think about buying red corvettes, declining hormones, greying hair (or loss thereof), memory problems, etc. I agree, senior is simple and easy. I'm like you, not quite there for a lot of senior discounts, but will definitely take advantage whenever I qualify. They keep that info secret, lol. :p I think being young at heart and physically fit is a big plus for seniors to be sure!
