Hello from Maine, USA where there is 3500 miles of coastline before even considering the islands

Retired and moved to Maine from the Midwest 2 years ago. Working on figuring out which passions to pursue.
 

Welcome! I would really like to explore that area in Maine along the coastline. Maybe take a boat out in the Atlantic and do some fishing and watch the whales, if I'm lucky enough to see them.

Welcome! I love Maine, too! Was just there last year to see Lafayette's tall ship (a rebuild of course) of the Hermione. We were in Castine, under the elms!
 
:welcome:, Welcome from Tennessee, Theresa, we just moved from Maine to retire here.. we lived in Maine for 25 yrs. my hubby is a Maineiac.. lol...
you will love it there. It truly is a beautiful state.. especially if you love to ski or snowmobile or go ice fishing or go to Fla. for the winters..lol. the winters are very long.. enjoy your passions what ever they may be...
 
Adventure in Maine

Hi Theresa,
Climbed Mt. Katahdin in Baxter St Park. Canoe'd the Allagash, Chesuncook, and slept under the stars. What a beautiful state. There is lots to do. Adventure will find you.
