Well, I tried to get on this forum as Jezzie and it's sad that I can't. I had forgotten that I activated an account here some years ago. I really don't like my member name at all. Too bad.
Just a few things about me. I'm retired now. Left work behind a few years ago. So long, goodbye to that part of my life. Finding things to do now though is a problem. I get awful bored. I carried with me some hobbies. My hobbies are sewing, painting, gardening. I do fashion remaking, purses, and dabble with quilting a bit. I've picked up learning to paint on canvas, and I garden flowers and vegetables.
My hubs and I also used to love camping. We have traveled some but ended up parking the camper. We have an RV on a lake in an RV park. We go there mostly on the weekends. Selling out this year, when hubs gets the golf carts running that is.
Hubs has a show car, 1973 Ford Mustang. We take it to car shows. I don't go all that often though, not really my interest. but the big shows I sometimes like to go.
I've been on several forums before. Glad this one doesn't allow Politics. Ugh! I really hate the arguments that causes. Happy to see this forum has so many people from the US. Good to converse with my neighbors. I do like the people for the other countries though too. Many of them are friends or acquaintance's. I like the different cultures.
I've already jumped in here and there. Seems to be very active here. I can't spend my whole day here, but I'll try to be active at times. Bear with me if I don't respond quickly.
Glad to see a wildly bunch, I'm sure I'll be getting to know many of you in the future.

Hi Jezzie..

Welcome from Minnesota! Hubby and I have been to upper Michigan several times along the lake and it’s beautiful!!
Thanks for the Welcome. Upper Michigan is nice, too cold for me though :D . I do love and miss going up to stay in the woods though. It's my favorite! I live in the Detroit metro area. Hate it here, but haven't made it out yet. My hubs doesn't even want to talk of moving.
Our RV is in central lower Michigan. About 45 minutes away, perfect drive for when I was working.

Welcome from NW PA.
Son lives in MI.

Hubby & he are planning on us being up there end of Sept for some ATVing.
Sounds like fun Sliverfox. September in Michigan is very nice. Plus all the kiddies are back in school. My hubs and I love to travel and camp in the fall. NW PA is very nice, I've traveled through there. Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome to the forum. We live in metro Detroit and are planning to move to a brand new senior community in Holland Mi. Can't wait! It will be a major upgrade compared to living in metro Detroit.

have fun,
