I'm new here. Joined to chat online with others of my age. I enjoy many things and have a positive outlook on life. Played piano for years, now not physically possible (majored in music in college).

I've been in your state twice both times in Las Vegas
My sister's 50 th birthday bash weekend in 2000 ,fun time with family and her friends
My 3 friends&I were there in Oct 2001,a month after 9/11.We had made our reservations 6 months ahead of time
it was a strange 4 days,walking the Vegas Strip not seeing too many people,most of the casinos were empty.The hotel staff were so happy we didn't cancel we got free coupons for our meals

I remember few of us were celebrating at that time. Glad you visited Las Vegas - way too many people there now for me. I'm in the western part of the state, near Lake Tahoe.
 
In the '60's, my husband and I lived in Yuma. Worked at the Army test site just north of there as I remember. A bit too warm for me but I enjoyed the experience. Thanks for your welcome!
