I’m 69 and retired. I recently lost my dog of 14 years and never knew how a person can be until now. Just looking for some human connections.

Hi Purple power, I can absolutely understand your pain in losing your beloved furbaby. We lost 2 in the same day 2 years ago aged 14 and 15... my DD whose dogs they were still can't speak about it.

So sorry about the loss of your dog. I had mentioned him in your first post.
The loss hurts deeply as I know…. lostt my best friend of 15 years a few months ago too.

The void is so hard to deal with. Hope this forum can help some.
